These terms apply to container rentals supplied by Framingham Dumpster Rental Guys. Booking a container means accepting them.

Quotes and pricing

Quotes are given as a flat rate covering delivery, the stated rental period, collection, any DPW right-of-way permit required for a street placement, disposal and a stated tonnage allowance. Loads exceeding the tonnage allowance are charged at the per-ton overage rate quoted at booking, evidenced by the disposal facility scale ticket, which is available on request.

Rental period

The standard rental period is stated at booking. Extensions are charged at the daily rate agreed at booking. Please give notice before the scheduled collection date if a project is running long.

Permits

A container placed on private property such as a driveway generally requires no permit. Where a container is placed on a public street or blocks a public sidewalk, the City of Framingham Department of Public Works requires a right-of-way permit. We assist in securing this permit as part of the service; the customer is responsible for providing accurate placement information.

Disposal and prohibited materials

Construction and demolition debris is transported to a licensed, MassDEP-permitted C&D processing facility or another licensed facility; the City's Recycling Drop-Off Center does not accept construction and demolition materials or commercial vehicles. Under the Massachusetts waste-disposal bans (310 CMR 19.017), asphalt, brick, concrete, metal, wood, clean gypsum wallboard, mattresses, textiles and yard waste are banned from disposal and must be recycled or processed. The customer is responsible for the contents of the container. The following must not be placed in a container: household hazardous waste including paints, solvents, oils, fuels and chemicals; whole tires; lead-acid batteries and used motor oil; electronic waste; mattresses and textiles; appliances containing refrigerant unless the refrigerant has been professionally evacuated and certified; other liquids; propane and other pressurised cylinders; medical or biohazardous waste; and any material classified as hazardous. Banned and prohibited materials route to an approved recycler or drop-off rather than being placed in a container. Concrete, block and clean masonry must be placed in a designated clean-load container, and soil and stone must be kept clean and as dry as practicable to avoid excess weight charges. The customer is responsible for any charges, fines or remediation costs arising from prohibited or banned material.

Placement and access

The customer is responsible for ensuring a safe, legal and accessible placement location. We protect surfaces with planking as standard, but cannot accept liability for damage to driveways, curbs, sidewalks, lawns, soft or sloped ground, underground services, septic systems, wells, irrigation or paving arising from a placement requested by the customer.

We may decline a placement where we judge it unsafe or likely to cause damage, including on soft or steeply sloped ground that will not carry a loaded container, and will discuss alternatives.

Loading

Containers must be loaded level with the rim. Loads heaped above the rim cannot be legally transported and will need to be reduced before collection. Every load is covered and secured before transport as required by Massachusetts law; the customer must not remove or defeat that covering.

Collection

Access must be clear on the scheduled collection date. Where a container cannot be collected because access is obstructed, a failed collection charge applies.

Liability

Our liability in connection with any rental is limited to the amount paid for that rental. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including project delay.

Payment

Residential rentals are payable at booking. Account customers are invoiced on agreed terms. Overage and additional charges are invoiced after collection with supporting documentation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
